Gavin Patterson McNeill, age 20 of Broadway, passed away on Saturday (4/18/2020) at his home.  He was born in Lee County on April 29, 1999 son of Rachael Patterson Buchanan and Wendell Keith McNeill.  Gavin was a graduate of Western Harnett High School and was employed by Patterson Paving. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing with his Pine Burr Golf family and eating with his family.   Private family graveside services will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  Surviving are his mother, Rachael Patterson Buchanan and step-father Kevin of Broadway.  Father, Wendell Keith McNeill of Broadway, brothers Colton and Grant Buchanan of Broadway, Maternal grandparents, Donnie and Vicky Patterson of Broadway, Paternal grandparents Wendell and Sue McNeill of Broadway and step-grandparents Waylon Blue and Jenell Buchanan.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
