Gervacia Maya Perez, age 76 of Cameron, passed away on Tuesday (7/25/2023) with her family by her side.  She was born in Mexico on June 19, 1947, daughter of the late Liborio Maya Moreno and Petra Perez Leon.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Delfino Echeverria Noriega. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10am Friday (7/28/2023)  at Broadway Town Cemetery with Pastors Nelson Chay and Vivanne Chay officiating.  The family will greet friends from 4-6pm Thursday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway.  Surviving are her daughters, Sara Echeverria of Cameron, NC and Reina Echeverria of Siler City, NC.  Sons, Leonardo Echeverria of Georgia, Saul Echeverria of Lillington, NC, and Isaid Echeverria of Mexico.  Seven brothers and sisters, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com  Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
