Glennie Batten Rogers, age 82 of Sanford, died Wednesday (5/7/14) at Sanford Health and Rehab. She was born in Wilson County, daughter of the late James Thomas Batten and Molly Creech Batten. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Cloyce C. Rogers, Cpt.- USAR. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Wednesday at the Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Douglas and Rev. John Taylor officiating. Surviving is her son Steve D. Rogers (Andrea) of Sanford, NC; Brother Ray Tedder (Sadie) of Wilson, NC. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
