Gloria Ann Kartrude Nedrow, age 87 of Sanford, died Wednesday (10/18/2017) at Sanford Health and Rehab. She was born in Long Beach, CA, daughter of the late Walter C. Kartrude and Lois Amanda Saylor Kartrude. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Bob Kartrude, her husband Joseph Allen Nedrow and her son James Nedrow. She loved crafts, cross stitching and was an artist. She also made Christmas stockings for her family, loved to go camping, flowers, gardening, enjoyed the outdoors and loved her cats. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00am at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Surviving are her sons, Chuck Nedrow and wife Jenny of Sanford, NC and Terry Nedrow and wife Barbara of Norlina, NC. Sisters Carol Vennes of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Linda Scovil of Aurora, Utah. Grandchildren, Brandy Nedrow, Joseph Nedrow, Emily Worden and great granddaughter Laci Worden. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the Smith Funeral Home.
