Grady Brown McNeill, age 75 of Broadway, died Sunday (6/14/2015) at his home. He was born in Harnett County, son of the late James O. McNeill and Lillian Brown McNeill. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Purvis McNeill and Norman McNeill. He was a life time member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Wednesday morning at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery. Surviving is his wife Judy Griffin McNeill of the home; Sons Ronnie McNeill of Broadway, NC and Jerry McNeill and wife Wendy of Sanford, NC; Sisters Sue M. Thomas and husband Gene of Broadway, NC and Sandra M. Smith and husband Dwight of Broadway, NC; Brothers Ray McNeill and wife Agnes of Sanford, NC, Kendall McNeill and Margaret of Broadway, NC, Pete McNeill and wife Carolyn of Broadway, NC and Sammy McNeill and wife Melba of Broadway, NC; Sister in laws Agnes Taylor of Broadway, NC and Tretta McNeill of Sanford, NC; Five grandchildren, Hannah McNeill, Jacob McNeill, Joseph McNeill, Thomas McNeill and Steven McNeill; and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday evening at the Holly Springs Baptist Church Multi-Purpose Building.
