Gratice Elizabeth Hyler Woodell, age 70 of Asheboro, died Wednesday (1/2/2013) at Wake Forrest Baptist Health Medical Center in Winston Salem. She was born in Rockingham County, daughter of the late Arthur Hyler and Nora Hyler. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Stevens Woodell and sister Faye Hyler Suggs Henley. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Saturday at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel in Asheboro with Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Park. Surviving are her daughter Sheila Hill and husband Donnie of Asheboro, NC; Sisters Barbara Smith of Franklinville, NC and Mary Brown and husband Garland of Bennett, NC; Brothers Cecil Hyler and wife Betty Sue of Asheboro, NC and Bobby Hyler of Staley, NC; grandchildren Trae Hill and Jennifer Hill. The famiy will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday evening at the Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
