Gregory Allen Eason Sr., age 74 of Sanford, died Sunday (7/4/2021) at his home.  He was born in Greenville, SC, son of the late Malcom James Eason and Nellie Inez Stevenson Eason.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.  Gregory enjoyed photography of nature, and playing the guitar and music.  He also loved to go fishing and boating, being outside gardening and was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.  The family will hold a private service at a later date.  Surviving is his wife, Judy Avey Eason of the home.  Daughters, Cynthia McNeill and husband Dennis of Pittsboro, NC, Tammie Dawn Eason of Bear Creek, NC, and Christy Burton and husband Robbie of Bear Creek, NC.  Son, Gregory Allen Eason Jr., and wife Angie of Florida, eighteen grandchildren and thirty-one great grandchildren.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
