Guy Edward Heffner, age 62, of Broadway passed away on February 2, 2026 at Valley Hospice House, Fayetteville, NC surrounded by his family. He was born September 11, 1963 in Montgomery County, Ohio, son of the late Gayle Edward Heffner and Sue Ann Morningstar Heffner.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Nancy Fields Heffner and his brother Greg E. Heffner.  Guy proudly served his county in the US Army.  He enjoyed doing arts and crafts as well as painting. He is survived by his sons Adam King (Danielle) of Pinson, Alabama, and James "Jamie" Switzer of the home; daughter Dorothy "DJ" Keene (James) of Lillington and sister Sheri Paulk of Snow Hill, NC. Also surviving are two uncles, Glen Morningstar of Florida and Ted Moringstar of Ohio; aunt Sandy Carlisle of Ormond Beach, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many friends whom he loved as family.   A celebration of life service will be held at the family home, 504 Hamlet Drive Broadway on Saturday March 21, 2026 at 1:00pm.
