Harold Delphus "Drew" Thomas, age 81 of Cameron, died Friday (2/24/2023) at his home.  He was born on January 19, 1942, son of the late Joe Nessing and Nellie Burns Nessing.  Drew was a Veteran of the United States Army and loved to make people laugh.  He was a Tar Heel fan and loved his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Surviving is his daughter, Kelli Thomas of Cameron, NC.  Son, Jason Thomas of Fuquay Varina, NC, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
