Harvey Lynn Hardy, age 49, of Spring Lake, died Tuesday (1/6/2015) at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington. He was born in Davidson County, son of Becky Hall Hardy and the late Harvey Lee Hardy. He was preceded in death by his father, Brother Jerry Hardy, Sister Annie Hardy and Brother-in-law Tony Byrd. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm Sunday at the Sanford Free Will Holiness Church with Rev. Pearl Castleberry officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery. Surviving are his mother, Becky Hardy of Sanford, NC; His wife Linda Baker Hardy of the home; Children Joshua Hardy and wife Cory of Dunn, NC, Samantha Godfrey and husband Murphy of Sanford, NC and Jessica Preston and husband Justin of Broadway, NC; Step-Children Linda Coombs and husband Lynwood of Cameron, NC and Susan Johnson and husband David of Sanford, NC; Brothers David Hardy and wife Nancy of Sanford, NC and Terry Hardy and wife Dana of Siler City, NC; Sister Pansy Hardy Byrd of Lillington, NC and Peggy Hardy Kennison and husband Gary of Sanford, NC; Father-in-law William Baker of Spring Lake, NC and Eleven grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2-3pm Sunday at the Sanford Free Will Holiness Church in Sanford.
