Henry Donnell "Donnie" Coore, age 69 of Sanford, passed away on Sunday (5/22/2022) at his home.  He was born on November 11, 1952, son of the late Henry James Coore and Annie Lois McNeill Coore.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Blanton McNeill and wife, Debra Buchanan Coore.  Graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11am Thursday at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Houston officiating.  Surviving are his daughters, Michelle Coore and Melissa Douglas of Sanford, NC.  Brother, Lemar McNeill of Broadway, NC.  Grandson, Harley Douglas and great-granddaughters, Caroline Douglas and Ivey Douglas.  The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday at Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
