Henry Allen McWaters, age 83 of Sanford, died Tuesday (9/22/2020) at the UNC Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home in Pittsboro.  He was born in Shawnee, OK, son of the late Herman McWaters and Vinnie Bow Fulbright.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Kathy Smith and Ruth Johnson and his first wife Elizabeth McWaters.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday (9/30/2020) at 3:00pm at the Juniper Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Hall officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.  Surviving is his wife, Kathleen McWaters.  Daughters, Sandra Castonguay of Broadway and Vicky Castonguay of Sanford.  Step-children, Ronnie Dennis of High Point, Wanda Collins of Broadway and Debbie Messer of Cameron.  Sisters Venice Warden and Mattie Welch of Texas, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the SECU Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home in Pittsboro.   Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
