Horace O. "Punch" White, age 96 of Sanford, died Wednesday (9/19/2012) at Liberty Commons in Sanford. He was born on December 20, 1915, son of the late William Albert White and Katie Mae Pope White. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Willie Mae "Bill" Arnette and Mattie White Tyndol ; brothers Gary and Brady White; and his wife Florene W.White. Graveside funeral service with military honors will be conducted at 4pm Friday at the Broadway Town Cemetery with Rev. Garland Smith officiaiting. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
