Broadway; Jack Houston Childs

Jack Houston Childs, age 84 of Broadway passed away on Saturday (5/20/2017) at the VA Hospital in Durham. He was born in Pickens County SC on July 28, 1932 son of Thomas Wesley Childs and Isabell Reece Childs. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Crossroads Church in Broadway. He was preceded in death by his parents, Son Mark Childs; Daughter Pamela Childs Hall, Granddaughter Krystal Childs; Brother Clyde Childs; Sister Judy Childs. Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday (5/23/2017) at the Buffalo Church Cemetery with the Rev. John Sauls, Officiating. He is survived by his wife Patricia M. Childs of the home, Sons, Gregory Childs of Augusta,GA Bryon Childs of the home. Sister Annie Ruth Smith of Spartanburg, SC, Brother Wayne Childs (Bea) of Texas. Five grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren.
