Jackie Cash Gray, age 83 of Apex, died Thursday (9/28/2017) at Wake Med Cary. She was born in Chatham County, daughter of the late Charlie Thomas Cash and Pearl Rena Johnson Cash. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Cash, Daughter Debra Collins and great granddaughter Katie Collins. She was the Matriarch of the family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family and friends were pure joy for her as well as her dogs. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily and was a friend to everyone that met her. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Monday at the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Umberger officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving is her husband Charles Gray. Children Robin Blalock and husband William Blalock, Tony Gray and wife Anne Gray. Son in law Larry Collins and wife Cindy Manus. Brothers Jimmie Cash and Milton Cash and Sisters Sandra Denson and Phyllis Cash. Six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday from 1-2pm at the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church in Apex. Flowers are welcome or donations can be made to Gideon International.
