James Louie Rosser, age 75 of Lillington, passed away on Tuesday (1/7/2020) at his home.  He was born in Lee County, son of the late Elmer Rosser and Frankie Sloan Rosser.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  James enjoyed being a small engine mechanic and loved John Deere tractors and his pets.  Memorial services will be on Friday at 5pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garland Smith officiating.  Surviving is his wife Judy Kelly Rosser of the home.  Daughter Stephanie Rhodes and husband Tim of Broadway.  Son James H. Rosser and fiancée Marissa Corley of Newport, NC.  Step-son Barry Cummings of Lillington, NC.  Sisters Linda Cashett and husband Tim of Springfield, Illinois and Teresa Neal of Fayetteville, NC.  Grandchildren Autumn Rhodes, Brannon Rhodes and his special nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
