James Roy Wagner, age 60 of Mamers, died Thursday (9/5/2013). He was born on October 27, 1952, son of the late Isaac Hall Wagner and Clara Elizabeth Ashworth Wagner. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Wayne Wagner. He was a plumber for over forty years and was the owner of Wagner Plumbing Inc. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm on Sunday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Rev. Gary Buffkin officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Fuquay Varina. Surviving is his wife Donita Sue Wagner of the home Son J.R. Wagner and wife Brianna of Mamers, NC; Sisters Elizabeth Brown of Mamers, NC and Ruby McKinney of Broadway, NC; Brothers Claude Wagner of Sanford, NC and Billy Wagner of Mamers, NC; Two grandchildren Scheyer Wagner and Weston Wagner. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
