Jesus “Chuy” Aguirre, age 33 of Dunn passed away on Saturday (8/15/2026). He was born on December 25, 1992, son of Javier Espinoza and Estela Aguirre. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerardo Espinoza and Margarito Espinoza. Jesus was employed by ST Wooten. He enjoyed fishing, leatherworks, glass engraving and grilling whether it was raining or the sun was shining. His family was always very important, and he loved spending time with them. He is survived by his mother, Estela Aguirre of Dunn, NC and his father, Javier Espinoza of Mexico; sisters, Olivia Mondragon of Raleigh, NC, Beatrice Garcia and husband Francisco of Sanford, NC, Odila Espinoza of Dunn, NC, Anabella Espinoza of Dunn, NC and his girlfriend of many years, Jessica Williams of Dunn, NC; nieces and nephews, Jocelyn Espinoza, Maurilio Garcia, Jaylah Garcia, Juliette Espinoza, Leia Mora, Jazlynn Garcia, and Delilah Espinoza and his beloved dog, Gordo. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11am at St Stephens Catholic Church in Sanford with Father Joseph Pee Thuruthel officiating. Burial will be on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 3:00pm in the Broadway Town Cemetery with Deacon Emilio Mejia officiating.
