Jimmie Dale Eastin, age 67 of Sanford, died Wednesday (2/3/2021) at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.    He was born in Owensboro, KY, son of the late Jimmie Bob Eastin and Edith Marie Head Garven.   He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, L.G. "Buck" Moore, his sister Mallina Bonacorrso and his daughter, Leslie Southwick.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Surviving is his wife of 49 years, Judy Marie Fields Eastin of the home.  Daughter, Misty Benson (Mike) of Benson, NC, Tonya Bunnell (Jason) of Sanford, NC and Marisa Szlachta (Rick) of Huntsville, Alabama.  Son, Jeremy Jones (Marlena) of Vienna, Austria.  Sister, Kathy Alburger (Tom) of King City, CA, and Donna Morrison (George) of San Antonio, Texas.  Brothers, John Wayne Gertisen of Moncure, NC,  Jim Eastin of Neosho, MO, Jeff Eastin of Neosho, MO, Joel Eastin of Neosho, MO, Thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
