Jimmy Ross Womack, age 70 of 400 First Street Broadway, died Thursday (10/13/2011) at his home. He was born on April 16, 1941 , son of the late Willie Samuel Womack and Annie Frances Patterson Womack. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Wesley Womack. He was a member of the Holly Springs Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm Sunday at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Parsons and Rev. Doug Houston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife Sara M. Womack of the home; Son Jerry Womack and wife Teresa of Broadway, NC; Step-daughters April Bouchard, Kim Sharpe and husband Kelvin and Mary Jo Numerick all of Sanford, NC; Brother Johnny Hammonds and wife Marie of Broadway, NC; Eleven grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway and other times at the family home, 400 First Street Broadway.
