Joffre Lance Johnson Jr. age 69, died Friday (10/11/2013). He was born in Guilford County on January 24, 1944, son of the late Joffre Lance Johnson and Ruby Rowena Turner Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents and enjoyed playing the guitar and loved music. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Broadway Town Cemetery with Rev. Elton Bryan officiating. Surviving are his Sisters Patsy J. Payne (Robert) of Broadway, NC, Brenda J. Bordwell of Sanford, NC, Rachel J. Pattishall (Douglas) of Sanford, NC, Margaret J. Lemons (Jerry) of Broadway, NC and Faye J. Conklin of Sanford, NC; Brothers Richard Johnson (Diane) of Broadway, NC, Allen T. Johnson (Claudia) of Durham, NC, Jerry Johnson (Judy) of Sanford, NC, Lonnie Johnson (Shirley) of Broadway, NC, Glenn R. Johnson (Gloria) of Sanford, NC and Clint Johnson of Broadway, NC; Many nieces and nephews.
