John Paul Davis, age 29 of Cameron, died Friday (1/4/2019). He was born on July 31, 1989, son of Raymond Etham Davis Sr. and Kathy Ann Payne Davis. He was employed by Davis General Repair and loved to hunt and fish. Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm on Friday (1/11/2019) at the New Covenant Community Church, 301 McLaughlin Road Cameron, with Rev. Douglas Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are his parents Raymond Davis Sr and Kathy Payne Davis of Cameron, NC. Wife, Amanda Talbert Davis of the home. Brothers Raymond Etham Davis Jr. and wife April and Bobby Joe Davis all of Cameron, NC. Grandparents Robert and Patsy Payne of Broadway, NC. Mother in law Rosy Garner and husband Rodney of Robbins, NC and sister in law Melissa Wilkins of Cameron, NC. Nieces and nephews, Lindsey Ray Davis, Raymond Etham Davis III, James Michael Dandron Jr., Miley Wilkins, Merick Wilkins, Mackena Wilkins, Maddox Wilkins and Katelyn Elizabeth Davis. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm, on Friday one hour prior to the funeral service at the New Covenant Community Church and then immediately following the graveside service in the New Covenant Community Church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials are made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
