John Laurel Denise, age 69 of Broadway, died Friday (3/27/2015) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. He was born in Lee County, son of the late Alfred Forest Denise and Ruby Harrington Denise. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday at the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Houston and Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Surviving are his wife Barbara Buie Denise of the home; Daughter Karen Denise of Raleigh, NC Son Jonathan Denise of Broadway, NC; Sister Rhette Thomas of Broadway, NC and Brother Buddy Denise of Pittsboro, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday morning from 10-11am in the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Sanctuary.
