Jonathan Eden Johnson, age 53 of Broadway, died Sunday (7/24/2016) at Universal Health Care in Lillington. He was born in Wake County, son of the late Rev. Clyde Lambeth Johnson and Nancy Maybelle Campbell Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents and Brother, Steve Johnson. He was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church and was an avid UNC Fan. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday at the Broadway Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Pittman, Rev. Ken Dowdy and Rev. C. Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery. Surviving are his sister, Nancy Johnson of Broadway, NC; Brother, Michael Johnson of Sanford, NC ; Sister-in-Law Donna Johnson of Broadway, NC and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway on Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm and other times at the home of Nancy Johnson, 203 Crystal Drive Broadway, NC 27505.
