Jonathan Tracy Sullivan, 47 of Broadway, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill from a stroke. He was born in Chatham County in Pittsboro, NC to Beverly H. Sullivan (who predeceased him) and Virginia (Jennie) Morrison Arnold on October 15, 1969. Jonathan was a construction heavy equipment operator for many years and thoroughly enjoyed his work. He was also preceded in death by his brother Brian Wesley Arnold. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 4pm at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Priddy officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4pm Wednesday, one hour prior to the memorial service at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway. Surviving are his parents, Wesley and Jennie Arnold and his brother Travis Arnold all of Broadway. Jonathan is also survived by his three nephews, Travis Jr., Jake and Justin whom he dearly loved and they loved him. He will also be missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
