Jonnie Sue McNeill, age 67 of Broadway, passed away on Wednesday (5/13/2020) at her home.  She was born in Lee County, daughter of the late Hugh Marshall McNeill and Mabel Currin McNeill, who preceded her in death.  Sue was married on October 28, 1972 to her beloved husband, Gene McNeill.  She was a member of Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church and retired from Central Carolina Community College.  Sue was a loving mother and grandmother to her sons and grandsons.  Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2pm at the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Houston and Rev. Daniel McNeill officiating.  Surviving is her husband Gene McNeill of the home.  Sons Marshall McNeill and wife Christy of Broadway, NC, Jason McNeill and wife Angela of Lillington, NC and Daniel McNeill and wife Betsy of Broadway, NC.  Sister, Patricia Hudgens and husband Charlie of Monterey, Tennessee and grandsons Riley McNeill, Colton Taylor, Logan McNeill and Layden McNeill.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
