Josefa Olea Morales, age 69 of Broadway, passed away on Monday (5/1/2025) at her daughter's home with her family by her side.  She was born in Mexico on April 7, 1956, daughter of the late Abelino Olea and Lorenza Morales.  She is survived by her husband, Santos Renteria of the home; daughters, Nereyda Cruz of Broadway, NC, Alma Cruz of Warsaw, NC and Rosa Cruz of Burlington, NC; son, Gilberto Cruz of Mexico; sisters, Irene Campos of Broadway, NC, Maria Campos of Texas; brother, Cleofas Campos of Broadway, NC and seventeen grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 6pm Saturday May 3, 2025 at the Alpha and Omega Church, 510 N. 7th Street, Sanford NC.  The family will receive friends on Monday, May 5th, 2025 from 6-8pm at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.  Burial will follow at a later date in the Panteon de la Maestranza, Coyuca de Catalan Guerrero, Mexico.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com  Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home, Broadway Inc.
