Joseph Albert Gray Jr. age 73 of Sanford, died Saturday (5/3/2014) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.  He was born in New Hanover Co., son of the late Joseph Albert Gray Sr. and Velma May Cooper Gray.  Services will be conducted  at 11:00 am Wednesday at Lee Memory Gardens with Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Entombment will follow in the Lee Memory Gardens Masoleum.  Surviving are his sisters Doris Connell (Jerry) of Lakeland, Florida and Margaret Eason (Graham) of Wilmington, NC; Brother George Gray (Judith) of Sanford, NC.  Arrangments are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
