Joseph Edward Petrone, age 63 of Lillington, died Wednesday (3/14/2012) at his home. He was preceded in death by his son Joseph Petrone Jr, his sister Teresa Holland and his father Steve Melnyk. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Monday at the Melnyk Family Cemtery in Lillington with Rev. Scott Reeves officiating. Surviving are his mother Marie Melnyk of Lillington, NC; Wife Angeline Talluto Petrone of the home; Daughters Tamara Petrone of Fort Gratiot, Michigan and Mary Jo Bennett and husband Earl of Jackson, Florida; Son Christopher Petrone of the home; Sisters Jan Dandron and husband Mike of Sanford,NC, Rose Howery and husband Duane of Olivia,NC, Robin Yow and husband Robert of Sanford,NC, Nancy Morrison of Lillington,NC and Bell Stathakis and husband Matt of Goldsboro,NC; Brother Frank Petrone Jr. of Lillington,NC; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the home of Marie Melnyk, 40 Melnyk Lane Lillington,NC. Arrangements are by the Smith Funearl Home of Broadway.
