Joseph Brian Rhodes, age 47 of Sanford, died Monday (9/7/2020) at the Kobacker Hospice Center in Columbus, Ohio.  He was born in Lee County, son of Harold Steve Rhodes and Cynthia Buchanan Chalker.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday at the Hillmon Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne O'Quinn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery.  Surviving is his father Steve Rhodes of Sanford, NC.  Mother, Cynthia Chalker and step-father Rodney Chalker of Sanford, NC.  Son, Ken Lemons and wife Victoria of Falcon, NC.  Sisters Melinda Rhodes of Sanford, NC and Deeandra Chisenhall and husband Patrick of Clayton, NC.  The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Saturday at the home of Melinda Rhodes, 749 Turnbury Court Sanford, NC.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
