Joshua Sheppard Whittington, age 26 of Fresno, Ca, formerly of Broadway, died Friday (3/3/2017) in Fresno. He was born in Lee County, son of Timothy Mitchell Whittington and Melissa Sawyer Barefoot. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Surviving are his father, Timothy Whittington and wife Natalie of Fresno, CA. Mother Melissa Barefoot of Broadway, NC; Brothers Clayborn Allie Barefoot of Lillington, NC and Nolan Wayne Barefoot of Broadway, NC.
