Judith Manning Waite, age 89 of Raleigh, formerly of Broadway, passed away on Saturday (10/26/2024) at Carver Rehabilitation Center in Durham.  She was born on December 2, 1934, daughter of the late Leland Elroy Manning and Flores Arlene Miller Manning of Otto, NY.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, David Manning and Herbie Manning; sister, Diane Sawyer; husband Donald William Waite and her son Keith Donald Waite.  Judith retired as the village clerk in Little Valley, NY.  She knitted and crocheted, loved to play card games, and traveled across the United States two different times.  She loved her family and being at home.  Surviving is her daughter, Beth Waite Polleck of Raleigh, NC; sons, Paul Waite and Martin Waite of Broadway, NC; daughter-in-law Carol Waite of Sanford, NC; sisters, Geraldine Messenger of New York and Marjorie Frank of Broadway, NC; grandchildren, Travis Waite, Drew Waite, Brian Waite (Sereh), Alycia Bryant (Jason), Jenna Hall (Hayden) and five great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends on Saturday (11/2/2024) from 1pm-2pm at the Smith Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm at Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
