Judy Carolyn Avey Eason, age 75 of Sanford, passed away on Friday (7/21/2023) at her home.  She was born on November 9, 1947, daughter of the late Robert Avey and Ruby Jewell Pagett Avey.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Gregory Eason.  Judy enjoyed planting flowers and nature.  She loved God, her family, shopping and cooking.  She was very old fashioned and set in her ways.  There will be no services held at this time.  Surviving are her daughters, Cynthia McNeill (Dennis) of Pittsboro, NC, Tammie Dawn Eason of Pittsboro, NC and Christy Burton (Robbie) of Bear Creek, NC.  Son Gregory Allen Eason Jr. (Angie) of Cocoa Beach, FL.; brothers Dean Carson and Bob Avey of Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com  Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
