Judy McNeill Patterson Wood, age 63 of 105 Watson Lake Drive Broadway, died Wednesday (12/14/2011). She was born in Lee County on January 6, 1948, daugther of Cornelius Benton McNeill and the late Beulah Mae McNeill. She was preceded in death by her mother and her first husband Lellon Tommy Patterson. She was a graduate of Boone Trail High School. Funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Monday at the Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Parsons and Rev. Ramon Atkins officiaiting. Burial will follow in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Surviving are her father Cornelius B. McNeill and her step-mother Beulah Thomas McNeill of Broadway; Husband Jerry Wood of the home; daughter Tammy Patterson of the home; Son Randy Patterson of the home; Sister Glenda Womack and husband Sammy of Broadway,NC and brother Jimmy McNeill of Sanford, NC; Step-daughters Kimberly Somers and husband Tim of Atlanta, GA and Amanda Wood Springle and husband Tony of Lillington, NC; one step-grandson. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Sunday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway and other times at the family home, 105 Wason Lake Drive Broadway. Arrangments are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
