Larry Lee Bowles Jr. age 52 of Sanford, passed away on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. Funeral services will be held at Smith Funeral Home in Broadway on Friday, October 30th 2026. The family will receive friends beginning at 11am with a service following at12pm with Pastor Curtis Norris officiating. A short graveside service at Broadway Town Cemetery will follow. Larry attended and completed an associate’s degree welding from Central Carolina Community College. He had a long career in welding. Larry was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and camping. Larry was hard working, kind-hearted, had a heart for talking and sharing Jesus with anyone he could. He had a special love and place in his heart for all of his children. Larry is survived by his mother, Sharon Elizabeth Ratliff Bowles; daughters, Katelynn Marie Bowles, Jessica Renee Bowles, Emma Lee Bowles; son, Wyatt Andrew Bowles; wife, Angel Bowles and granddaughters, Raegan Klaire Robichaud and Autumn Paige Robichaud; nieces, Hanna Bowles, and Brooke Morrison; nephew, Broughton Bowles and his sister-in-law, Brandy Mcevers.
