Lawrence Russell Boyce Jr., age 65 of Lillington, died Thursday (7/25/2019) at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.  He was born on January 4, 1954, son of the late Lawrence Russell Boyce Sr. and Elizabeth Cottrell Boyce.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon Boyce, brother Andrew Francis Boyce and granddaughter Hope Nicole Hyde.  Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00pm Tuesday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway with Rev. Luke Koval officiating.  Surviving are his daughters Melissa Boyce (Daniel Frazer) of Sanford, NC and Elizabeth Hyde (Lance) of Sanford, NC.  Sons Lawrence Russell Boyce III (Margaret) of Lillington, NC and William Micheal Boyce (Virginia) of Sanford, NC.  Grandchildren Jessica Boyce, Nicole Boyce, Tucker Hyde, Emma Hyde, Ryleigh Atkinson,  Zayn Atkinson, Katie Emery,  and Daniel Atkinson.  The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-6:00pm Tuesday evening, one hour prior to the memorial service at the Smith Funeral Home.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
