Mamie Lois Dunn Parker, age 86 of Moncure, died Sunday (4/20/2014) at Cambridge Hills in Pittsboro.  She was born on July 28, 1927, daughter of the late Clarence Monroe Dunn and Vida Mae Barbour Dunn.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband James Randal Parker Sr.  Funeral services will be condcucted at 11am Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Rev. Garland Smith and Rev. Bobby  Shutt officiating.  Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery.  Surviving are her daughters Shirley P. Hartogensis and husband Peter of Bethesda, MD, Sylvia Fowler of Pittsboro, NC, Betty Sue Mason of Oscilla, GA, Dorothy Holmes and husband Sammy of Dunn, NC, Cathy P. Patterson of Raeford, NC and Patti Lou Parker of Sanford, NC; Sons James Randal Parker Jr. of Dunn, NC and William Robert Parker of Randleman, NC; Grandchildren Derek Boudreau, Michelle Graves, Nicole Murphy, Rachel Mitchell, Sherry Johnson, Matthew Patterson, Melinda Patterson, Billie Jean Whittenton, Michelle Gainey, Tina Neighbors, Samantha Herring, Amanda Holmes, Lavel Mason, Kim Copeland, Candy Watson, Stephanie Roberts, Dawn Pentescu and Hope Lambdin; Forty-two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends from 10-11am Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway, one hour prior to the funeral service.  Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
