Mary Lowe Chrisco, age 83, formerly of Broadway, died Monday (4/26/2021) at Pinehurst Health and Rehab.  She was born in Surry County on March 15, 1938, daughter of the late Jessie William Lowe and Stella Logan Lowe.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Fred Howard Chrisco.  Mary worked for many years at Quality Mills in Carthage and drove the book mobile for Moore County before her retirement.  Graveside funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday (5/3/2021) at Cross Hill Cemetery with Rev. Garland Smith officiating.  Surviving is her son, Steve Chrisco and wife Michelle of Olivia.  Daughter, Darlene Newman and husband Phil of Maryland.  Sister, Maxine Kolmonen of Florida.  Brothers, Harold Lowe of Greensboro and Gary Lowe of Asheboro.  Grand children, Zachary Cohen, Taggert Cohen, Courtney Chrisco, Whitney Chrisco Whitmore and four great-grandchildren.  Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday between the hours of 2:00-4:00 pm to sign the register.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
