Mary Magdaline Wilson, age 70 of Broadway, died Saturday (11/11/2017) at the First Health Hospice Center in Pinehurst. She was born in Guilford County, daughter of the late Jerry Saunders and Kathleen Burke Saunders. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers William, James, Gene, Henry and Jerry Saunders and two Sisters, Christina Thomas and Martha Vinson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Pastor Charlie Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadway Town Cemetery. Surviving is her husband Larry Atlas Wilson of Broadway. Daughter, Tonya Stewart (Brian) of Clarksville, TN, Step daughter Sherri Sauls (Todd) of Little Washington, NC. Sons , Marty Ellis (Marilyn) of Bynum, NC, Ricky Ellis (Penny) of Ramseur, NC and Donald Ellis (Tammy) of Pittsboro, NC. Step sons Michael Wilson (Judy) of Broadway, NC and Shane Wilson (Carol) of Sanford, NC. Sisters, Callie Meadows and Lola Honaker both of Moncure, NC. Brothers, Joe Saunders and Buddy Saunders of Florida. Ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three step grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Tuesday, one hour prior to the funeral service at the Smith Funeral Home.
