Merle Nadine Lindsey Mullen, age 43 of Broadway, died Wednesday (10/18/2017) at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She was born in Orange Co., daughter of the late Charles Lloyd Lindsey and Alvis Lillian Bouldin Lindsey. She was preceded in death by her parents, step son Joshua Mullen and Sister Doris Sullivan. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway. Surviving is her husband Steve Mullen of the home. Daughters Shayla Lindsey and Makyla Lindsey both of Broadway. Sons Charles Holder and Brice Mullen both of Broadway. Step children Corey Mullen of Cameron and Brianna Mullen of Mamers. Sister Avis Brown of New York and two brothers Mike Lindsey of New York and Joe Lindsey of Fuquay Varina, NC.
