Michael Lee Godwin, age 45 of Sanford, passed away on Saturday (12/23/2023) at his home.  He was born on April 24, 1978, son of Jane Hunter Brewer and the late Charles "CharliePop" Godwin.  He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Jean Godwin.  Michael enjoyed going to car shows, had a special love for VW's and spending time with his family and friends.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday (01/06/2024) at 2pm at Salem Presbyterian Church with Rev.
