Michael "Mickey" Reid Poe, age 77, of Broadway passed away on October 1, 2025.  He was born October 30, 1947 the son of Reid Monroe Poe and Mary Joyce Kelly Poe. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donna McNeill Poe and daughter, Candace Poe Blackburn. Michael was a veteran of the U.S. Army as well as a long-time government contractor. He worked with the postal service in Broadway as well as with his father at Poe and Son Construction. Michael enjoyed doing craft shows with his wife Donna for which he did lots of wood working. He was an avid hunter, loved the outdoors and enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his son Matthew Dean Poe, of Broadway; two grandchildren, Carson Edward Blackburn, Logan Michael Blackburn and son-in-law Paul Blackburn. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday (10/5/2025) at Mt. Pisgah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Doug Houston and Chaplain Lucas Barnett, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Mt.
