Nicholas Shawn Ramsey, age 22 of Broadway, died Sunday (4/29/2018) at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. He was born on Sept. 5, 1995, son of Bradley Shawn Ramsey and Melinda Herring Howard. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert G. Rollins. Nick was a Graduate of Lee County High School Class of 2013, was a member of Baptist Chapel Church and enjoyed fishing and playing disc golf. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Thursday at Baptist Chapel Church with Pastor Shane Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Baptist Chapel Church Cemetery. Surviving is his mother, Melinda H. Howard and his step-father Martin Howard of Broadway. Father, Bradley Ramsey of Louisiana. Sisters Logan Cuevas and husband Kenneth of Broadway, NC, Kennady Ramsey of Virginia and Brothers Collin and Bailey Howard of Sanford, NC. Grandparents Lillian Rollins of Broadway, NC, Mike Ramsey of Sanford, NC, Nancy Brown of Louisiana and Clara and Tillman Howard of Sanford, NC. Aunts and Uncles, Juanita and Mike Sheasby of Minnesota, Robert and Lisa Howard of Sanford, NC, Julie Howard of Sanford, NC , Patrick and Denise Ramsey of Sanford, NC and many cousins. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday evening at the Baptist Chapel Church Sanctuary.
