Nora Eunice McCauley Worrell, age 93 of Sanford, died Saturday (9/26/2015) at Sanford Health and Rehab. She was born in Harnett County, daughter of the late Jim and Florence Thomas McCauley. She was preceded in death by her husband James Dillon Worrell, two sons Danny and Jimmy Worrell; three brothers Herbert, William and Ray McCauley; six sisters Mamie Roberson, Thelma Worrell, Bessie Konea, Frances Messer Gilbert, Jean McKinney, Elsie Williams and Betty Ferrell. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Tuesday morning at the Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington with Rev. Garland Smith officiating. Surviving are her sons, Jerry Worrell and Wife Patricia, Lynn Worrell and wife Sherry and Glenn Worrell and wife Paulette all of Sanford, NC; Daughter Felicia Gail Worrell of Lillington, NC; Sister Lola McNeil of Lillington, NC; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday evening at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
