Norwood Eugene Jones, age 84 of Broadway, died Tuesday (7/18/2017) at his home. He was born in Harnett County on March 12, 1933, son of Eulas Jones and Lina Morgan Jones. He was a US Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Moore Jones, His parents, Two daughters, Wanda Faulk and Ramona Jean Jones. Son Woody Jones. Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday (7/21/2017) at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Lee, officiating. Burial will follow with military honors in the Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Dunn, NC. He is survived by his son Keith Jones and wife Peggy of Monroe, NC, Daughter Christine "Peggy" Nowell of Sanford, NC. One brother Kenneth Jones and wife Carol of Broadway. Nine Grandchildren Stephanie Baker, Vincent Nowell Jr., Erin Beasley, Stuart Faulk, Seth Faulk, Kelsey Faulk, Spencer Faulk, Brian Jones, and Olivia Jones. Nine Great-Grandchildren. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway. Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
