Omar Torres Torres, age 38 of Broadway, died Thursday (5/12/2016) at his home. He was born in Mexico, son of the late Uvaldo Torres Navarro and Esperanza Torres Orta. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leonardo Torres. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:00pm at the St. Stephens Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Sloan Family Cemetery in Broadway. Surviving is his wife, Estrella Vazquez of the home; Sons Rodrigo Omar Torres Vazquez and Jeremy Torres Vazquez of the home; Sisters Adela Torres of Mexico, Lilia Torres of Texas, Herminia Torres of Michigan and Consuela Torres of Michigan; Brothers Ascencion Torres of Sanford, Rosalio Torres of Lillington, Honorio Torres of Broadway, Jamie Torres of Mexico and Umberto Torres of Mexico. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Monday at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.
