Patty Womack Brinkley went to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 18, 2023.  Born in Lee County, NC, she was the daughter of Mary McCauley Womack and the late Landon J. Womack.  Patty was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul H. Brinkley, her father, and her brothers L.J. Womack and Eddie Womack.  Patty worked at Magneti Marelli for almost 30 years providing administrative support to various departments.  Prior to her retirement, she also worked as an administrative assistant at area businesses and Crossroads Ministries.  Patty was a loving and devoted wife, a loving and supportive mother who loved her entire family and friends unconditionally.  Patty is survived by her daughter, Cassie Brinkley, her mother Mary Womack, her brother Tommy Womack, her sister Rita Letuli, sister-in-law Pat Womack, and several nieces and nephews.  Patty was a faithful worshipper at Southside Baptist Church.  Through the years, she served in various ministries at several local churches.  She lived her life according to the greatest commandments: Love God and love people.  Patty will always be remembered as a woman of great faith and prayer who never ever gave up.  A memorial service will be held at Southside Baptist church on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 3:00pm with Pastor John McVay officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southside Baptist Church, 108 Knowledge Street, Broadway, NC 27505.
