Paul Wesley Woodell, age 76 of Cameron, died Monday (11/8/2021) at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.  He was born in Randolph County on May 26, 1945, son of the late Henry Riley Woodell and Violet Mae Edwards Woodell.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Kay Woodell and step-son, Stephen Scott Daniel.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Sunday at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Pastor Ron Freeland officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Grove Cemetery.  Surviving are his daughters, Teressa Rebecca Coggins of Thomasville, NC, Linda Sue Woodell of Sanford, NC, Brenda Lou Woodell of Butner, NC Alice Faye Ashley (Mitchell) of Sanford, NC and Helen Marie Daniel of Cameron, NC.  Sister, Shirley Woodell Welch of Asheboro, NC.  Brothers, John Riley Woodell of Cedar Falls, NC and Charles Lee Woodell of Franklinville, NC, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday at the Smith Funeral Home in Broadway.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
