Peggy Beasley Norris, age 79 of Sanford, passed away on Saturday (11/7/2020) at her home.  She was born on November 7, 1941 in Lee County, daughter of the late Johnny Monroe Beasley and Alma Goins Beasley.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willie Norris and her son Tillman Norris.  Graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday at the Shallow Well Church Cemetery with Pastor John Sauls III officiating.  Surviving are her sons Billy Norris and wife Tina of Lillington, NC, Michael Norris and wife Christy of Broadway, NC and Kenneth "Buddy" Norris of Santee, SC.  Eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.  Friend and family may visit the Smith Funeral Home on Monday between the hours of 2pm-5pm on Monday and from 9am-12pm on Tuesday to sign the register and pay their respects.  Due to Covid-19 guidelines, mask are requested for the services.  Condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
