Peggy Jeanette Roy Semanko, age 73 of Broadway, passed away on Sunday (10/23/2022) at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. She was born on August 20, 1949 daughter of the late Author Roy and Edith Moore Roy.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. There will be no services held at this time.    Surviving is her husband of 56 years, John Semanko of the home.  Sons, Chris Semanko and wife Brenda of Wilmington, NC, Brian Semanko of Broadway, NC, and grandchildren, Brian Semanko Jr., Tyler Semanko and Brianna Semanko.  Online condolences can be made at www.smithfuneralhomebroadway.com Arrangements were by the Smith Funeral Home of Broadway.
